Jake Benedict

Vice President

Jake joined Valor in 2022 as a Vice President on the Investment Team of Valor Siren Ventures.

Prior to Valor, Jake was a Senior Associate at New Mountain Capital, where he worked on underwriting new deals and supporting the firm’s portfolio of investments. Prior to New Mountain, Jake was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked on corporate strategy and private equity due diligence projects. Jake has also spent time in the restaurant industry, working back of house at Oleana in Cambridge, Massachusetts and on the opening team at Stissing House in the Hudson Valley, New York.

Jake holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Agriculture and a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
