Jason Appelbaum

Operating Partner

Jason joined Valor in 2024 as an Operating Partner. He manages the Valor Studio (a space designed to foster the next wave of outstanding companies), provides technical diligence support, and contributes to the Scale Group.

Jason is an entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling businesses. His entrepreneurial journey began with a mobile application development company that expanded into app-enabled phone accessories. His second venture in consumer electronics focused on producing consumer electronics but saw the most success in factory line test automation and predictive failure analysis, addressing key manufacturing challenges.

In his most recent venture, EverCharge, Jason built a premier asset in the EV charging space. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in expanding EV infrastructure by collaborating with local municipalities, standards bodies, major automakers, and suppliers. He also led a joint venture with a prominent utility company, showcasing ways to leverage partnerships to scale operations and drive meaningful business growth. Valor was an early investor in EverCharge. Jason successfully exited the company through an acquisition by a global conglomerate, further highlighting his proven ability to guide businesses through complex growth stages and execute strategic exits.

Jason received a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Southern University.
