Opportunity: There are two million semi-trucks in the U.S., which generate over 339 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. While short-haul and long-haul trucking capacity is expected to migrate to electric power over time, the transition requires replacement of every semi-truck in the U.S. as well as substantial infrastructure investment for charging stations.

Vision: Turn America's two million semi-trucks into carbon removal devices.

> First partnered with Valor in 2021.

> Remora's device will mount on the back of a truck, attach to its tailpipe, and filter the carbon emissions out of its exhaust.

> After unloading the captured high-purity, liquid CO2, Remora will sell it to end-users, or sell credits for permanently sequestering it underground in EPA-certified wells.

> Remora will share the revenue from the captured CO2 with customers, so the device will create a new revenue stream for customers while reducing their emissions.
