Manduka’s Headbands for Healing initiative began with a call from a nurse in the Midwest. To alleviate the pain caused by elastic bands behind the ears, she began sewing buttons on headbands. When she asked if Manduka would donate headbands to expand her project reach, we immediately contacted our manufacturer to assist and they jumped right in. They sewed buttons on all current stock (over 16,000 headbands) and we distributed them to hospitals in five cities across the US and three countries in Europe. We are proud to support our healthcare personnel worldwide during the COVID-19 crisis and are grateful for their sacrifices to keep us safe.
